There Is A Way Out Of Every Trouble

The Bible says in Matthew 4:1, that “Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil. This means God allowed Jesus to be tempted, just as he allows you to be tempted. Satan first appealed to Jesus’ physical need, his hunger. Next, he questioned God’s protection. Finally, he tried to undermine God’s authority. He uses those same techniques on us. Jesus answered each assault with God’s Word. If you are wise you will follow his example. God has already provided you with the resources you need to overcome the temptations you face daily. His unfailing Word is there for you to use like Jesus did in His time of temptation. You need only to choose whether you will try to handle trials and temptations in your own strength or rely on God’s help and his Word to guide you as you develop wisdom, maturity and endurance. “This is what the LORD says, he who created you. He who formed you, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you. I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour. Isaiah 43:1-3.
